Submit a Conference Proposal

Applications are now open for conference program proposals. Please visit the Call for Programs webpage for information, resources and the application. Submissions are due by April 29.

Apply to be a Program Peer Reviewer

The AHEPPP Conference Committee seeks volunteers to review proposed programs for the November 2024 Conference. Program reviewers will review program submissions during the month of May and could expect to contribute 10 hours total in this role. Training will be provided. Applications are due by April 26.  Please visit the Conference Program Reviewer application to apply.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • The last day to register for the conference is Friday, October 25 at 5:00 p.m. EST
  • All cancellations and requests for refunds must be received in writing on or before Friday, October 25 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Please email [email protected] to make your request. Refunds are subject to a $150 cancellation fee
  • We are unable to issue refunds after October 25

Statements on Hotel Smoking and Gambling

Smoking
The Peppermill Reno Resort complies with the Nevada Clean Indoor Act, which prohibits smoking in indoor public spaces. As a result, the Hotel and Convention Center and meeting rooms are non-smoking. Additionally, smoking is not permitted in restaurants, lounges where food is served, hotel lobbies, elevators, guest room hallways, retail stores and other indoor spaces. The Casino floor and certain lounges where food is not served are exempt. Conference attendees might smell smoke when they are near the Casino, including the lobby, escalators, and hallways around the conference meeting spaces. Air purifiers are located around these areas to reduce the smell of smoke.

Gambling
The Peppermill Reno Resort offers a casino on the first floor. We recognize that gambling is a form of entertainment for those who wish to participate. While conference attendees do not have to gamble, we recognize that some people may struggle with gambling.
