The conference begins in the afternoon on Monday, November 18, and concludes in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 20. Pre-conference workshops are held in the morning on Monday, November 18.

Suggested arrival:

  • Pre-Conference Workshop Attendees - Plan to arrive on Sunday, November 17
  • General Conference Attendees - Plan to arrive by early afternoon on Monday, November 18

Conference Hotel

The 2024 National Conference will be held in Reno, Nevada, "The Biggest Little City in the World." The conference will take place at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino, Reno's premier AAA Four-Diamond Resort.

Getting to Reno and the Conference Hotel

We suggest flying into Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). The Peppermill Reno Resort is 2.5 miles, approximately 8 minutes, from the airport. Visit the Reno-Tahoe International Airport maps.

The Peppermill offers a free shuttle to and from the airport. It departs every half-hour.

  • Shuttle Service from the Airport to the Peppermill: The shuttle departs from the airport every half hour from 4:15 a.m. -11:45 p.m. Pick-up location is at the North exit of the Baggage Claim area. Look for the shuttle bus with Peppermill on the side.
  • Shuttle Service from the Peppermill to the Airport: The shuttle departs from the Peppermill every half hour from 4:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Pick-up location is at the valet area outside the hotel lobby.

Weather

In late November, Reno is typically mild in the afternoon (Average high - 53.8 degrees). Overnight temperatures are a bit colder (Average low - 26.8 degrees). While we cannot guarantee good weather, Reno gets 300+ days of sunshine annually, so bring your sunglasses!

Self-Guided Tour of MidTown Reno

Networking Dinners

Join colleagues for a networking dinner on Monday, November 18 and/or Tuesday, November 19 at various locations inside the Peppermill Resort and throughout Reno! Each networking dinner location can accommodate 10 guests. Each guest pays for their own meal. Please see the networking dinner options in the AHEPPP Conference app to register for a dinner.
